Description:  Falls are the leading cause of injury and death among Oregonians age 65 and older.

The goal of this free workshop is to provide older adults information and tools to help prevent a fall and to encourage living an active and healthy life. Topics covered include concussions and brain health, medication interactions, common reasons for falling, home safety, exercise, and easy steps you can take to prevent a fall. It covers transportation and pedestrian related issues, and we walk through a couple of the balance exercises.
